My childhood bestie came this weekend and helped me look at bedding for you. Her hubs and Daddy also moved the furniture around in your room. Good-bye, guest room/office, hello baby sister's room! Some bedding I'm trying came in today, and I think it's the one. I want really soft colors and a traditional vintage feel. I'm using this bumper:
And these curtains:
I don't like the bedding that came with the bumper so I think I'm going to get Mimi to convert a curtain into a crib skirt.
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, you are starting to look like a miniature newborn. Your lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and you're even developing tiny tooth buds beneath your gums. Your eyes have formed, but your irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment.
Fine hair (lanugo) covers your body, and there are deep wrinkles on your skin. Inside your belly, your pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.
These were my prayers for you this week:
Putting your room together and moving up the crib has me thinking a lot about sleep. Man, I'm praying that you're a good sleeper!
